WOR 2024: Blessing 2: On the Creation of Humanity and the Gift of Life

Beloved,

I invite your spirit to interact with me today.

Spirit, listen to the word of G-d for you for today.

…then the L-RD G-d formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. And the L-RD G-d planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. -Gen 2:7-8 ESV-

Spirit, there was a time when man was created in this segment. He was formed by Father, composed by Father, and then endued with the presence of the human spirit that was given to him by Father….

To the whole person reading this: You were created by the L-rd and fashioned with affection, tenderness, and with an eye toward reality. And into you, G-d placed the human spirit. And in that moment of placement of spirit into body, the soul came into being, and was designed to grow into life-giving partnership with the spirit in the lead. And too often, we bring healing to the body and to the soul, and very little gets done with respect to the spirit. And my heart is to see all three ministered to well. Hence, when I write blessings, it is for the too-often-neglected spirit I write.

Spirit, after you were breathed in, and then began the sequence of knitting together the soul and the body, following that process, the L-rd took Adam, and put the man into the Garden of the L-rd.

The text does not spell out that segment of the process, but I am under the impression He, as a G-d of Process, did not just create him and then immediately drop him into the Garden the next moment. Rather, in light of His love of processes that unpack, I wonder at the possibility that He took man to the Garden by way of a journey, and while they were on the way to Eden, conversed.

And what they conversed about, and what, as the new creation was present, what the man was thinking on the way to the garden.

Spirit, in thinking about this, I want to encourage you with the following.

G-d did not just make you in a haphazard or hasty moment. No, he took a process to form you. And that process was laced with affection and love and with an eye to your purpose and design. As many of us as there are, spirit, there are also unique designs and purposes.

So, spirit, I bless you to hear and rejoice in the reality of the gift of Dad breathing you into the body of the human of which you are part. I bless you in your leadership role. I bless you to know a revelation of G-d’s love for you. And I bless you to know that you are His gift of love and uniquely designed to solve a specific set of problems. Problems are not a bad thing. Rather, they are a good thing. And problems were given to us to be solved. And as we solve problems, tools are developed.

I bless you to find the tools you need to solve the problems you were given, spirit.

I bless you with the revelation that you were made to be unpacked more and more so that complex problems are met with complex solutions.

I bless you to know there will be a journey that G-d takes you on that is designed to unpack you as you work in growing in reconciliation to Him and in turn, help reconcile others to Himself.

Be at peace, spirit, in your growth journey, in the name of Yeshua. And as you arrive at your home, be further at peace as you receive the pieces the King has for you, and as He provides problems to solve.

Know that in his provision of problems, solutions will develop as you get familiar with the nature of the problem. And that process might take time. I encourage you to be patient as you ponder and process the set of problems in front of you.

And I bless you to always remember His love as you work the problem in front of you.

Blessing 12: September WOR Blessing: Deuteronomy 1:25

Beloved, I invite your spirit forward.

Spirit, listen to the Word of G-d for you for today:

And they took in their hands some of the fruit of the land and brought it down to us, and brought us word again and said, “It is a good land that the L-RD our G-d is giving us.”

Deuteronomy 1:25

A good land, given us….

Spirit, you were made for good land. You were not made for sin or made as a foul, reprobate, worm, bastard sinner.

You were made for the good land and the good land was made to be given you. G-d does not make us and never designed us for the place of suffering that is the lake of fire.

The lake of fire, rather, was prepared for the devil and his messengers.

Spirit, you, On the other hand, or made for a land that is FLOWING with milk and honey. A land in a place of abundance and provision.

Spirit, I resist utterly the idea that we are supposed to castigate ourselves for the entire tea of our lives. no no no no no no no. We were made for birthright and for destiny and for love and for purpose and for peace and for joy and for kindness and for goodness by an eminently faithful King.

You are to be reconciled to this Gift-Giver who affectionately thinks of you, toward you, and is for you.

So, spirit, I so deeply bless you with the revealing that the Father is the Giver. He is neither a taker of gifts or a stripper of callings. Those gifts and those callings are irrevocable. You were made to walk in them, and for them not to be stripped and given and stripped and given.

I bless you with love.

I bless you to know and be reconciled, for that is the MAIN REASON why Christ Jesus died. Not for mere fire insurance, but for deep reconciliation.

So we could experience the transition from summer to autumn and the beauty and the color change of the leaves, and his abundant provision in 1000 different facets.

I bless you with maple sap from sugar maples.

And long, powerful, spotted giraffe necks.

And the nasal, tooting “Kent”call of the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker.

And the plush feel of St. Augustine grass.

And the aroma of coconuts.

And the scent of orange blossoms.

And the zest of Lemons.

And the laughter of babies.

And the wood of dogs.

And the fullness of your birthright.

All of which was given by a good, good Father.

Who creates and creates in abundance, just so she could “lead captivity captive and give gifts to men”.

Ladies that includes you as well. Spirit, that’s for the masculine as well as the feminine. For if I can be called the bride of Christ, then you can be called the son of God. Congratulations, life is uncomfortable for everyone. 🙂

Spirit, I bless you to know the generosity of a Father who yearns for deep reconciliation with you, even as bad as you might think you are. For he still made you and called you good.

I bless you to be reconciled with the reality that you are worth giving a good gift. And you are worth Jesus dying so that you could have a good gift. And not just one good gift: many besides.

I bless you deeply with that revelation in tenderness, kindness, compassion, and love.

Be blessed with the steadfast love of that revelation.

I bless you in the name of Yeshua.

Blessing 3: Blessing For the Season: Window of Reconciliation: September, Reconciliation to G-d,

Beloved, I invite your spirit forward to connect for a few minutes.

Spirit, listen tot he word of G-d for you for today.

The L-RD said to Cain…

From Genesis 4:6, 9 ESV

Spirit, this text clearly says that, when Cain sinned in unrighteous anger and in the execution of murder both times, it never says he went to G-d. Rather, the text seems, at least to me, to indicate G-d came to him.

Let me say that again a little louder for those in the back.

Spirit, after Cain messed up twice, G-d didn’t consign him immediately to hell or Sheol or banish Cain. G-d came to Cain to help coach him to fix the problem.

Cain chose to leave G-d’s presence, not the way we typically hear this preached.

Nor was Cain this “ooooohhhhh wicked rebellious sinner beyond redemption.”

And this whole overgrown “a holy G-d cannot look on sin” nonsense that we have constructed off on own or two proof texts.

Plainly, after Cain sinned and before any sort of repentance take place, G-d approached him when there was still blood on his hands and offered to help him out of it.

Spirit, after our mess-ups and before the repentance bears forth, there is a moment in which G-d comes to visit us with His kindness and which His offer to help us to a better place.

So, Spirit, I bless you to speak up when we each screw up and to say “HEY! THIS IS THE WAY BACK HOME!!!!!”

I bless your voice to be among the oldest in our ear and presenting the kindness of the King as the way back home, even if the way back home may be difficult.

I bless you to latch onto and to display the reconciling desire of the Father’s heart when we are missing it.

I bless you to remind the person in whom you dwell that the way back home is already ready already (pardon that odd syntax), and the door is already flung wide for you to come back home, and the Father waits to kill the fatted calf in celebration of your return.

I bless you to be full of the purposes of the L-rd as you come back home and as you respond to the voice of the L-rd who is ever near the screwed-up.

I bless you to light on the path and the place where we ought to go.

If we are exhorted, spirit, to come boldly before the throne of grace, what’s to stop the Father from boldly coming to us with kindness to make…

all things new….

Be reconciled, you who have messed up, to a Father that wants you home.

In the name of Yeshua.
