Beloved,
I invite your spirit forward to treat with me, in love and tenderness in the name of Yeshua.
Spirit, hear the word of El Shaddai for you today:
“Your rod and your staff, they comfort me….”
From Psalm 23:4 ESV
Spirit, I want to draw out a few tools here that may not be often-thought-of, but which are incredibly valuable:
His rod, not of correction but of measurement. His metron. And His staff of connection.
Spirit, the Rod of the King, the first word He is speaking to me for you is “measurement”. Measurement of your days, measurement of your destiny, measurement of the scrolls the King will give you all the days of your life, and His capacity to tell you that even when you do not feel in yourself that you “measure up”, that He affirms you do measure up. You are capable, a miracle, full of wonder, and full of wisdom and understanding and knowledge.
The King doesn’t seek to beat you with the rod. He seeks to instruct you with it by showing you the measurements and the dimensions of a thing.
The second word He is speaking is “tribe”. The Hebrew word for “rod” here also is used in the Tanakh to refer to the TRIBES of Israel. Family groupings that BELONG with each other. So there is a tribe into which you will be born, that will show you you belong. You mother and father have a tribe and mothers and fathers, and I as their brother have said to them they belong with Father.
And spirit, I bless you with a deep sense of belongingness in your tribe in your family.
I bless you to hear and relax in the tribe of your home so you can see what portion the king is measuring out to you.
Spirit also, the staff of the King.
His staff provides comfort.
And what is His staff, spirit.
His staff is his SUPPORT and SUPPLY, according to Isaiah 3:1.
Those connections with others in your tribe will provide support and supply. They are your staff of advisers and counselors.
“but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:15-16 NKJV
Every joint and connection, spirit, will be used by the King to supply life to your body, spirit, and health to your bones.
I bless you with a community that will be life-giving and not death-dealing.
I bless you that, even when hard situations and circumstances flow to you, you will have a steadiness in you that helps remind you that these circumstances will not dictate your response, but the King’s supply of His eyes of love will. And you will know, no matter what happens around you that there is a supply and a support for you.
I bless you to make your first supply the Father of Lights and your Bridegroom, Yeshua.
